Charles J. Everett, PhD Charles J. Everett received his PhD in soil science from Virginia Tech in 1981. He worked as a Research Soil Scientist in the Forest Research Division of Westvaco Corporation for 22 years.

From 2003 to 2011, Dr. Everett worked as a Research Associate in Family Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Everett is currently employed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, SC.

Over his professional career, Dr. Everett has authored or co-authored 90 publications.
